1. Uplifting colors. This year, we’ve seen colors gravitating more toward warm and happy shades that convey a sense of coziness and comfort. This year’s palettes contain more earthy hues, more neutrals, and more blues and greens. Instead of all-white kitchens, we’ve been starting to see more gray tones make their way into those spaces, as well as blues and greens.

2. Curated collections. After a decade of minimalism, we’ve been seeing a shift toward more highly decorated and personalized interiors that incorporate more colors, textures, and character. We’ve seen clearly defined themes such as mid-century and farmhouse living shift toward more curated looks as we aim to bring more coziness to our homes.
3. Reimagined living spaces. Quarantine has definitely made us reimagine the way we live to maximize the space we have. Whether it’s closets turned into home offices or classrooms, or sheds turned into gyms, interior designers are expecting these trends to stay for years to come.
